So from that day, I started looking for a job. I really thought it was going to take weeks or months until I would find one. But only a few days later I received a phone call from a job agency. They asked if I could work for two weeks as a student at H&M's in Antwerp. I accepted the offer and worked there for two weeks. After that Christel, my supervisor, asked me if I would like to stay working there. I was enthusiastic about it, but she said I had to work another 200 hours in duty of the agency. After that they would offer me a contract for a trial period.
Working at H&M's is quite fun actually. At first, it was rather boring because I was only allowed to clean up the racks and label the clothes. But after a week or so, I was allowed to help at the registers and work on the 'look' of the store itself. Christel said that I would become responsible of the men's department. I'll see what the future brings, but for now, I'm loving what I'm doing and how my life is going. (No matter how slow this progress is going.)
True! I think every young man faces the decision what do to with his life someday. I had it at least twice: chosing my courses @ school & deciding to apply for a parttime job & to pursuit a new life as a pio. I wish you good luck with every step you take! Carpe diem! Life is short (so far..), use it wise my friend.
