Today was the first real cold day. To me, the 'cold season' begins when I miscalculate the coldness in function of my clothes. And today was that day! I just wore a summer-coat and a thin scarf. It was so cold that I bought gloves and a scarf at our store. (Note: I needed a scarf and gloves, I didn't buy them out of desperateness. :D I especially like the scarf, it's one of those no-end-no-start-scarfs if you know what I mean.)

Another thing that marks the beginning of this season is that I finally can listen to songs like 'Winter Winds' by Mumford & Sons and 'Horchata' by Vampire weekend' again. These songs have a high nostalgic value to me. They call back memories and spheres from the winter. And if I try to play them during spring or summer I automatically turn off the song. It just seems so unnatural.
