STARBUCKS. II

I'm sitting in the train. It'll depart at a quarter past three. Still ten minutes. I will arrive in Herentals at approximately 3.45 pm. I don't know what I'm going to do when I arrive there yet.

Come to think of it, I spent one hour and a half at Starbucks and feel good about it. It really did me good. As I look through the window, I can see my own reflection. I stare at it and I ask myself a lot of questions. I'm listening to Jasper Erkens. I don't care what other people think about him. He's a good singer, his songs are great and he's good at playing the guitar.

The wagon I'm sitting in is almost empty which is quite normal considering the fact that today is a holiday. The good thing about today is that I haven't felt lonely at all. Not even when I was standing on the cays of Linkeroever, looking over the city. Sometimes being a loner is a good thing. Don't get me wrong or anything, I don't think about crucial life-stuff all the time. I often form an opinion. For example: many people find the walls behind the registers at Starbucks ugly. At first I shared this opinion. But I learned to appreciate it. It has something retro and at the same time something modern and innovative.

Standing still is a waste of time. So I should be moving on. I'm sure I'll find my way. As I look at myself through the window, I notice that it stopped raining. I can even see the strength of the sun through the grayness of the sky. Awesomeness, joy, assertive.
